What is Reiki?

Reiki is a natural healing system from Japan that uses light touch to assist the healing of injury, illness or chronic pain.  Reiki is natural, spiritually guided energywork.  It is gentle, safe, non-invasive and calming.  Anyone can learn, practice and experience Reiki!  Our goal is to bring Reiki to everyone in the most affordable, efficient, professional and supportive way possible.  For more information on Reiki, visit www.learnreikiphiladelphia.com.  We take a unique approach to Reiki at Hawthorne and there are many ways to get involved.  We offer:

*Drop-In Community Reiki & IET Clinic, $10-$20 Sliding Scale

* Private Reiki Healing Sessions with certified practitioners, Sliding Scale: Half Hour $20-$40; Full Hour $30-$60

* Reiki Training,  Sliding Scale: Level 1 $250-$350; Level 2 $350-$450; Level 3 $475-$600

*Jacobs Healing: Reiki for Yoga Teachers, $200 for certified Reiki practitioners, $100 for non-practitioners

Sean will lead you through a brief introduction to the Japanese art of Reiki and give you an overview of his Reiki Level 1 class.  This event will include:

- Reiki Circle where you can experience a sampling of Reiki

- Discussion about the history and practice of Reiki

- Discussion of Japanese culture and human energy theroies

- Discussion of Sean’s signature Yoga & Reiki class

- Brief explanation of how Reiki is presented at Hawthorne and how it’s different
