Yoga & Pilates Classes

Our studio features natural light from 2 large windows, high ceilings, plants, local art and 150-year-old hardwood maple floors.

Would you like to barter your time for yoga classes?  We need your help with cleaning, office work, front desk, research, outreach, press/PR, accounting, carpentry, painting, event planning, photography, electrician, other.

Sliding Scale Class Rates:
1 CLASS: $5 to $15
1 MONTH UNLIMITED: $50 to $100
*Yoga mat rental is $1 or $2 per class.*

Please pay what fits your budget within the sliding scale.  You can pay in cash at the studio or online via Pay Pal.  Our studio is inside a large warehouse building (1241  Carpenter Street) and the main entrance stays locked. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early for class. Recent schedule changes are BOLD.  Schedule subject to further changes without notice.  Check the homepage for special short-term yoga series now enrolling.

~Class Descriptions~
~
Beginner’s Pilates:
A series of controlled movements to build endurance and coordination, increase circulation and sculpt the body.  This moderately paced pilates class elongates and strengthens the muscles, corrects your posture and prevents future injuries.  Beginners welcome.
~
Beginner’s Yoga:
This is great for your first yoga class or to refresh on the basics.  Each teacher brings their own personality and style of yoga to the class. Beginners welcome.
~
Gentle Hatha Yoga: Slow moving and nourishing, take plenty of time in every pose to focus on form and breath.  Build endurance, strength and flexibility.  Beginners welcome.

Intermediate Hatha Yoga: Using the breath as your guide, this intermediate class will bring you through a series of steady postures offering variations for different levels of students.  This practice will build heat through sun salutations as well as a series of challenging asanas.  Some yoga experience recommended.

Intermediate Vinyasa Flow:
A vigorous, dynamic class benefiting those seeking strength, flexibility, a clear mind, and an energy boost.  Experience with yoga recommended.

Reiki Circle & Share: A peaceful place for both seasoned reiki practitioners and those new to the practice.  You can trade sessions with another reiki student or learn more about Reiki in a small circle with a Certified Reiki Practitioner.  Everyone is welcome!  No experience with Reiki necessary.

Vinyasa Yoga: A challenging, peaceful, accessible class uniting breath with movement. Experience with yoga recommended.
~
Yoga & Reiki: Combine the healing effects of yoga, breath work and energy work in this slow, mellow, restorative class.  Increase flexibility, breathe deeper and release blockages in your energetic and physical bodies.  No experience with yoga or Reiki required!  Beginners welcome.
